In fact it is listed as SQL Server 2005 CE (ENU) in the Control Panel and v3.1 in the Program Files (x86) folder. I guess it was either pre-installed or, more likely was loaded when my system updated after I turned it on (based on the date).
Hi PMG, that was the first thing I tried and got the problem loading the SQL Server. I have tried different versions of the SQL but it' unexpectedly fails' to install. Is it worth trying the 32-bit v 2.0.1.1?
I have now tried the 2.0.0.4 version from ther Windows 7 download page and I got more info to say that SQL Server 2005 SP3 is not compatible with my chip architecture. Any ideas what I should do about this?
